This special yoga class will be facilitated by Jessica Garcia of Chandra Yoga and will focus on pranayama, strengthening, balancing and stretching. This modality of yoga will help in creating an internal balance of mindfulness and peace, perfect for a mid-week renewal and restoration! This class is free and open to the public. All fitness levels are welcome, and registration is not required. Be sure to bring insect repellant and a yoga mat!
Join us at Memorial Park’s Live Oak Court on Make Music Day to enjoy the sounds of the Houston Heights Brass, an exciting quintet that brings together talented musicians from across the country. The ensemble is known for their captivating performances that fuse different eras and styles, ranging from Bach to jazz to contemporary pop. Their concerts invite audiences to explore new music and enjoy themselves while they explore the rich history of music, spanning from old classics to modern tunes. This event is free and open to the public.
