MEMORIAL PARK TRAILS
With miles of paved and natural surface trails, Memorial Park offers an ideal setting to relax and immerse yourself in nature during your walk or run. Whether you venture through the hidden paths of Bayou Wilds or take in the expansive views atop the Kinder Land Bridge, you’ll be surrounded by the beauty of nature.
Trail running is available on the Bayou Wilds colored trails on the south side of the Park and on the Northwest Trails west of the railroad tracks and above Memorial Drive.
SEYMOUR LIEBERMAN TRAIL
A three-mile loop through the heart of Memorial Park, the Seymour Lieberman Trail is the most used space in all of Memorial Park. The trail is exclusive to pedestrians who seek a scenic and tranquil environment for their regular exercise routines.
ROY H. CULLEN TIMING TRACK
The 400-meter Roy. H Cullen Timing Track features five lanes for runners, walkers and individuals of all mobilities. Its surface is extremely resistant to heat as well as cold-weather damage which ensures it can be enjoyed by all no matter the weather forecast. On rainy days, stormwater is collected through the track and filtered through the surrounding woodlands before making its way to the Cyvia and Melvyn
Wolff Prairie.
ASPHALT TIMING TRACK
A quarter-mile asphalt timing track, located north of the Tennis Center, allows runners to work on speed and develop their running skills.
