Seymour Lieberman Trail
As the most frequented trail in Memorial Park, this spacious path is dedicated solely to pedestrians looking for a peaceful setting for their exercise routines.

GRAVEL PATH
LAND BRIDGE & PRAIRIE TRAILS
The pathways that run atop the Kinder Land Bridge connect hikers from the Seymour Lieberman Trail on the northern side of the park to the South Land Bridge Trail on the southern side. From this point, the South Land Bridge Trail guides visitors around the enchanting Cyvia & Melvyn Wolff Prairie, while also providing access to various Bayou Wilds trailheads.

Visitors can enjoy a leisurely stroll or an invigorating hike as they explore the natural beauty that surrounds them. Make sure to pause at the Prairie Observation Destinations along the South Land Bridge Trail. These spots provide close-up views of the local flora and fauna that enhance the native landscape.

Train enthusiasts and birders alike will marvel at this unique trail, where the sights and sounds of nature blend with the rhythmic clatter of passing trains.

CLAY FAMILY EASTERN GLADES
Clay Family Eastern Glades boasts more than two miles of scenic trails and boardwalks. All are handicap accessible. Bicycles are not allowed on these trails.
Oval Promenade
This trail leads users on a scenic loop through Clay Family Eastern Glades, encircling Central Lawn and offering picturesque views of Hines Lake.

Surrounding Hines Lake, this trail and boardwalk run alongside the water’s edge, providing intimate views of the natural

BAYOU WILDS TRAILS
There are 7 trails open to hikers and bikers in the Bayou Wilds Trail System. All of these trails are natural surface and subject to close following heavy rains. Please check the trail status to see if they are open.
The trails are mixed-use and shared by both hikers and bikers. Please use trail etiquette such as announcing your presence, being mindful of blind turns, and yielding appropriately to safely share trails.

All users are required to stay on the trail system in order to protect our fragile ecosystem. Electric or motorized vehicles such as motorized bikes are strictly prohibited in Memorial Park’s southside trail system.

Aqua
The southernmost trail in the Bayou Wilds Trail System, this secluded path invites you to run, walk, or bike while enjoying picturesque views of Buffalo Bayou. Â

Among the Northwest Trails, this path is one of the most secluded and experiences the least amount of foot traffic.

Providing a stunning vista of Kinder Land Bridge and elevating users above Memorial Drive, the Living Bridge not only connects two parts of the Park but also celebrates the harmony between nature and urban life, making it a cherished destination for both locals and visitors alike.
HOUSTON ARBORETUM TRAILS
An additional five miles of trails and walkways wind through Houston Arboretum & Nature Center’s 155-acre nature sanctuary. (This area is not under the management of Memorial Park Conservancy, visit HANC’s website for more.)

PARK UPDATES & ALERTS
Please be aware: The parking lots at the Running Complex and Picnic Loop will close each night at 9:00 p.m. and will reopen the following morning at 4:30 a.m.
The automatic gates allow free exit, meaning that any park user still in the lot after closing time can leave once the lot is closed.
The western portion of Outer Loop Trail will remain closed until 2027 for the construction of Memorial Groves.
