Every October, Memorial Park serves as the venue for the Memorial Park Bayou City Art Festival. This event attracts more than 20,000 attendees annually, providing ticket-holders the opportunity to meet with exhibiting artists and buy one-of-a-kind art while enjoying food, music, and entertainment. It’s a weekend of creativity and tradition (over 50 years running!), and Memorial Park’s Picnic Loop makes for a beautiful backdrop!
Park Impact & Access: October 9–11, 2026
⚠️ The entire Picnic Loop will be closed to the public for the duration of the festival. Tickets will be required to enter this Park area and attend the Bayou City Art Festival. All other areas of the Park will remain open to visitors as usual.
