Biography

Eric, born and raised in Michigan, comes to Memorial Park Conservancy after working as field supervisor for The Nature Conservancy (TNC) and as a project ecologist for DJM Ecological Services. After attending Michigan Technological University, he began working with TNC in Northwest Ohio.  His work with TNC, restoring the rapidly declining tall grass prairies of the Midwest, made him admire and appreciate the complex world of ecological restoration. As a project ecologist with DJM Ecological Services he served as a contractor to the United States Forest Service, conducting tree and vegetation surveys from Missouri to Washington, DC. In his free time he enjoys hiking with his wife and dog, fishing and riding his bike.
