The Seymour Lieberman Trail runs along Memorial Loop for 3 miles and is open 24 hours a day all year long. This popular crushed granite trail sees almost 3 million runners a year.

The 1.15 mile Picnic Loop at Memorial Park consists of two newly paved lanes winding through the shaded park on the south side of Memorial Drive. The loop is closed to automobile traffic after 3:00 pm Monday-Friday.

  Rollerblading is a popular pastime at Memorial Park, especially on the 1.15 mile, paved Picnic Loop, closed to vehicular traffic (after
3 pm on weekdays).

Picnic tables are located throughout the park. There is a large designated picnic area south of Memorial Drive. Please note the picnic loop is closed to cars after 3 pm on weekdays. Fees for reserving larger areas for group functions range from $25 ($50 deposit) for a child birthday party to $115 ($115 deposit) for commercial events.

The croquet courts are adjacent to the tennis courts and serve as the home court of The Houston Croquet Association.

$16 for two hours.

    Outdoor exercise stations are located along the Seymour Lieberman Trail, alongside the Memorial Loop.

The Vale-Asche Foundation Playground is the first Playgrounds Without Limits in Houston. It provides a space for children with disabilities to play. http://www.houstontx.gov/parks/playgroundlimits.html

The playground is located on East Memorial Loop Drive and Arnot street. Convenient parking is located at the Mayor Jim McConn Memorial Ballfields.  The playground is located across from the golf course and clubhouse. 

The butterfly garden is located near the Memorial Park Swimming and Fitness Center.
