Memorial Park
Forestry Conservation & Management Plan
Forestry site preparation work (removing underbrush and dead trees) for the replanting of thousands of trees has begun and will continue for the next few months throughout Memorial Park. Signs will be posted near work areas to keep park users informed. We respectfully ask everyone to pay attention to signs and stay away from the work areas to ensure the safety of all. We're looking forward to completing this work and moving on to replanting thousands of seedlings and trees this fall.
Also, forestry tours are offered every Wednesday at 7am and 6 pm in May for anyone interested in learning about the forestry program and providing feedback. Please RSVP to tmay@memorialparkconservancy.org. Thanks for your patience and kind consideration.
